Axis Digital started as the software one retail owner needed to run his stores. It became a studio when other people asked for the same thing.
The operator story
We run Wild Birds Unlimited franchise stores in Colorado. The first version of Axis was built to stop the owner reconciling five systems every morning. It was used in the stores the day each feature shipped, which is a harder test than any demo.
That is still how we work. The person who owns the product uses it. AI agents write the code; the owner directs the work, reads every change and is accountable for the result. That combination is why the platform grew to hundreds of modules and a dozen products with a team you can count on one hand.
Today the studio builds and runs software for franchise owners, product founders and organisations that need their systems to talk to each other. The flagship platform is adaptable to any business with multiple locations, and the rest of the work is on the case studies.

Say how it is made
The code is written by AI. We say so on the first screen of this site, because buyers deserve to know and because it is the reason for the speed and the price.
Build what gets used tomorrow
A feature that is not used the next morning by someone with a business to run is not finished. We scope to that, and we cut what does not meet it.
No silent fallbacks
When a price, a record or an integration is missing, the software says so and asks a person. Inventing a value to keep a page green is how businesses lose money quietly.
Running it is the job
A repository is not a product. Hosting, monitoring, deploys and a human on call are part of every engagement where we keep the keys.
Other people's data is theirs
Tenant isolation, franchise data agreements and health data have all shaped how we write code. The habits carry into every project.
Write it down
Every production mistake becomes a rule the agents read before writing code. Scope changes are written and priced. Decisions have dates.
